Well the 60th Festival de Cannes was "fantastique". I was thrilled to be there and brought lots of different clothes and shoes for the different events. Everything looks better with a glass of champagne in your hand. Not only the people in the room, but also your outfit... However no one warned me about how much walking I was in for. Yikes!! My feet were completely bandaged up after the first day of walking. This is the largest film festival in the world and my heels were the enemy. Forget about the french being difficult, this was painful. I abandoned my naive fantasies of wearing my evening wear. I needed Joe's Jeans and low heels. No! I was not topless!!! Yes, there was a rumour, but I was loyal to my little summer tops. I wasn't looking for that kind of movie work!!!
The Italian press interviewed me and my Russian co-star Levani, and I wore my favorite white Joe's Jeans. The Italian camera guy seemed to like them as I noticed he panned in on my butt a few times. I was also interviewed by the Independent Film Channel in the stunning and popular American Pavilion, which I was almost thrown out of because I am CANADIAN!!! They did call security but I gave them a case of Molson's and everything was forgiven.
The next adventure for me will be in New York with my dear friend Lou Martini Jr. from the hit t.v. show " The Soprano's." We are shooting a pilot together in Manhattan. I guess I'll bring some jeans... Maybe a pair of Joe's!!!!
